What are LCD’s?
LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display. LCD is a thin, flat display device made up of any number of colors or monochrome arrayed in front of a source of light or even a reflector. LCD screens are generally used in battery powered screens. The resolutions of LCD’s are expressed in pixels. The smaller the dots pitch size of the LCD screen gradually resulting a sharper image. The molecules in the layer of the LCD are aligned between two transparent electrodes. The user can view a sharp and much better image with the help of LCD’s. Most of the LCD screens are used in notebooks and television sets.
Now a days many models of laptops having LCD display screen are coming in the market. Especially IBM is manufacturing many kinds of LCD display screens for laptops.
