We all have heard about RAM a lot of us know about its function. But many of us have not heard about Magnetic Random Access Memory known more popularly as [MRAM]. This technology is the most advanced to date. Its basic principle is the integration of Magnetic memory components into a high performance logic base. MRAM uses magnetic charges to store information rather than the electronic signals. So it is able to store more data. It is undoubted that MRAM will significantly improve the portable computing products. This will happen in the following ways they will store data faster, access the data faster and use less battery power obviously.

The combinations which this MRAM has are as follows low cost of Dynamic RAM [DRAM], High speed of static RAM [SRAM] and importantly the non volatility of flash memory. The most important advantage of MRAM is that it retains information even when the power is turned off. This enables the Personal Computer to start immediately without the waiting for soft ware to “Boot Up”.

MRAM will be the universal technology of the future it will alter the entire memory market in few years time. MRAM has nonvolatile memory technology lifestyle solutions. This application will save power as well as time. Since after shutting of the computer MRAM will directly take the users to the settings which they have left.
